Getting started is straightforward
Tell us a little about what you're dealing with and we'll reach out to schedule your consultation.
Before you book — what you're probably wondering
How long is the first visit?
Typically 30 to 75 minutes depending on the complexity of your case. If your situation runs longer than expected, we take the time.
What does it cost?
The initial evaluation ranges from $225 to $495 depending on complexity. Fees are discussed before any appointment is scheduled — no surprises.
Do you take insurance?
We don't bill insurance directly, but we provide everything needed for self-submission, including a superbill. Medicare is billed directly from our office. HSA and FSA funds are accepted. Lab work is available through a physician co-op at significantly reduced pricing — we'll walk you through the options.
Do I need a referral?
We would love to see you in our office, with or without a referral.
Do you treat children?
Yes. Dr. A holds advanced certification in learning disabilities and behavioral disorders and has worked with pediatric patients across a range of neurological and developmental concerns.
Do you offer telehealth?
Yes, for applicable services. Give us a call and we'll let you know which ones can be done virtually.
Tell us about you
A few details are all we need to start: who you are, how to reach you, and a general sense of what's going on.
Please keep your description general. We'll collect your full health history securely once we connect with you. Do not include protected health information in this form.

Coming from out of town
A number of Dr. A's patients travel to Sandpoint specifically to see him. We'll work with you to schedule efficiently, grouping appointments where possible to minimize trips.
Sandpoint is worth the journey on its own. Our office team can point you toward lodging options, including arrangements that offer discounts to our patients.
